Neighborhood Allies Welcomes Toni Corinealdi as Senior Program Manager of Empowerment and Outreach | Fund My Future Programming Comes to Neighborhood Allies7 Comments
Please join us in welcoming Toni Corinealdi to the Neighborhood Allies Team!
Toni joins our team as the Senior Program Manager of Empowerment and Outreach.
Prior to joining Neighborhood Allies, Toni served as the Community Outreach Director for Fund My Future, a program created by the Propel Schools Foundation that aims to encourage saving for children’s futures and healthy savings habits overall. Over the years, Toni has served as a vital partner to Neighborhood Allies’ Economic Opportunity work through Fund My Future; but now, she will be bringing Fund My Future to Neighborhood Allies full-time!
While the Fund My Future program extended to all of Pennsylvania in early 2020, Toni’s move to Neighborhood Allies will allow for increased outreach efforts and provide more time for important relationship-building with families in Allegheny County specifically. Fund My Future participants in Allegheny County will receive the same programming they know and love. Plus, they’ll also have access to additional resources through Neighborhood Allies’ wide range of adjacent programming.
Toni worked for Propel Charter Schools from 2008 until April 2021. From 2015-2021 she was the Fund My Future Program Manager. In her role, as Program Manager, she oversaw the county-wide expansion of Fund My Future, while continuing to manage Fund My Future at 13 Propel Charter Schools. Then, when Fund My Future partnered with the Pennsylvania State Treasury last February, Toni played a leading role providing guidance for the statewide expansion. Prior to her employment with Propel Charter Schools, Toni worked for Pittsburgh Public Schools in Communications & Marketing, Pittsburgh Martin Luther King ALA and Pittsburgh Rooney.
Toni’s vision is that ALL children have a basic savings account by the start of school, giving children a jumpstart on life, building their confidence and preparing them to reach their lifetime goals.
Toni is a graduate of Point Park University with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership. She is a native Afro-Panamanian who migrated along with her mother to Brooklyn N.Y. where she started her first savings account in second grade at P.S. 11. Toni is also the mother of two beautiful daughters and grandmother of one dedicated Fund My Future participant. Toni is a proud recipient of the Clarion University Community Award for her dedication and commitment to equity and for implementing the Clarion Emerging Scholars Program at Propel High Schools. She was also a 2020 Strong Women Strong Girls Nominee and she is also a member of the Propel Afterschool Magic Advisory Board.
