Renowned Community Development Expert, Presley Gillespie, will lecture at the Biden School of Public Policy & Administration, Community Development Institute

Presley Gillespie, our President & CEO at Neighborhood Allies, has been invited to give a lecture to practitioners from around the country at the Mid-Atlantic Community Development Institute on April 29, 2024. A national-recognized thought-leader in the nonprofit community development sector, Presley has been a visionary and influential leader who possesses a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities across the U.S. Presley, along with our team at Neighborhood Allies, is not only knowledgeable, but also passionate about creating positive change and driving innovation that is equitable and inclusive. We seek to challenge conventional thinking and inspire action within the community and economic development sectors. We hope to empower leaders and organizations to think critically, collaborate effectively, and navigate the ever-evolving landscape of community development, ultimately driving sustainable and impactful change in our communities.

Mr. Gillespie’s presentation will be on Equitable Development Strategies that Neighborhood Allies has put into practice, including how we’re addressing systemic inequalities, neighborhood revitalization, economic mobility, mental health and wellness and community engagement participation in our day to day work.
