We are so very proud to call McAuley Ministries our ally, supporter and partner as we work together to promote healthy, safe and vibrant communities.
McAuley continues the legacy of the Sisters of Mercy by focusing grantmaking on the Pittsburgh neighborhoods traditionally served by the Sisters — the Hill District, Uptown, and West Oakland — and the sponsored ministries of the Sisters in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Funding from McAuley supports Neighborhood Allies’ Community Leadership Fellow, Shikha Jerath and her work including our Community Leadership Forum (CLF), which connects grassroots leaders in target neighborhoods to each other and to available resources, so that their long-term efforts lead to visible, resident-led change.
“We are excited by our partnership! Neighborhood Allies offers a fresh approach to community development. They are committed to fostering lasting community change through collaboration, resident engagement and leadership, innovation, and accountability.“-Michele Rone Cooper
Our work would not be possible without the tremendous support of funders like McAuley. We’d like to take this opportunity to showcase and thank The McAuley Minstries for their continued commitment and support of our mission to support the people, organizations and partnerships committed to creating and maintaining thriving neighborhoods.
