Neighborhood Allies strives to be a catalyst and connector of partnerships. This work is rooted in collaborations that build the capacity of communities and place resources and power in the hands of residents. It is through genuine partnership, we drive change and improve quality of life for residents across Pittsburgh.
We believe that creating meaningful and transformative neighborhood change requires dedicated collaboration, leadership and partnership among diverse stakeholders. To make this happen, we seek and build relationships that are deeper than partnerships–we seek and build true and genuine trust and allyship.
Neighborhood Allies engages with the private and nonprofit sectors including community, business, and social service stakeholders to support collaborative and comprehensive approaches to neighborhood development and enhance linkages with other sectors such as economic, workforce, and tech that affect low-income residents and operate across neighborhood boundaries.
