Neighborhood Allies and the Office of Public Art have put out a call for artists to participate in temporary art projects with Neighborhood Allies’ six focus communities in the coming weeks.

Community groups are holding six information sessions for artists to learn more about the project.

The first session, in Millvale, was on Monday. The next meeting is at 5 p.m. today at the Kingsley Center in Larimer.

For more information and the remaining schedule, visit www.neighborhoodallies.com.

The art is destined to be installed in the Hill District, Homewood, Larimer, Millvale, Wilkinsburg and the Hilltop neighborhoods, including Allentown and Beltzhoover.

The deadline to apply is May 2.
