Every financial journey is different. Some people are working to improve their credit, while others are paying down debt, building savings, preparing to buy a home, or overcoming an unexpected financial challenge. Whatever the goal, having the right support and the right tools can make all the difference.
That’s why Neighborhood Allies is expanding the resources available through the Allegheny County Financial Empowerment Center (FEC).
Through a new partnership with Giving Credit, eligible FEC participants may now have access to an affordable loan that can help remove financial barriers and support progress toward their goals. This opportunity is available through the financial counseling process and is offered when it aligns with a participant’s individual circumstances and financial plan.
The FEC provides free, one-on-one financial counseling with nationally certified financial counselors who work alongside residents to create personalized strategies for improving their financial well-being. Together, counselors and participants identify goals, navigate challenges, and connect to resources that support lasting financial stability.
The Giving Credit loan is one of many resources available through the Financial Empowerment Center. Whether someone is working to improve their credit, reduce debt, build savings, prepare for homeownership, or strengthen their overall financial health, our counselors help identify the solutions that best fit their unique situation.
This partnership reflects Neighborhood Allies’ ongoing commitment to expanding economic opportunity by connecting residents with trusted resources that help them build stronger financial futures.
