Violet is the Chief Financial Officer at Neighborhood Allies. In this role, she leads our organization’s financial strategy and stewardship and provides a range of financial services, such as accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and budgeting. She supports leadership by providing financial analytics to influence decision-making that allows the organization to operate with financial efficiency and sustain budgetary goals. In addition, Violet provides key financial leadership and strategy to help the organization achieve sustainable growth—managing both mission and margin while ensuring the fiscal welfare of our organization.

Prior to joining Neighborhood Allies, Violet worked as a Senior Accountant at Duquesne Light Company (DLC), with a primary focus on DQE Communications, a telecommunications service provider. In this role, Violet analyzed and reported on month-end financial results, provided oversight and management of her colleagues, developed and implemented plans that increased efficiency in reporting, and provided oversight of the organization’s benefit plan reporting, serving as the key contact and liaison between the audit team and management.

Violet holds a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Technology Management from California University of Pennsylvania with a minor in Accounting.
