FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT CENTER (FEC)

Description

Pittsburgh’s FEC provides free, one-on-one financial counseling by trained and certified professionals to anyone in Allegheny County. Since launching in 2019, the FEC has served over 1,500 clients in over 5,000 sessions, helping them to achieve over 4,000 measurable outcomes.

Goal of Program

The FEC helps clients take control of their debt, improve their credit, create a budget, connect to safe and affordable financial products, save for emergencies and major purchases, and meet their goals.

What We Provide

Through this program we provide financial counseling sessions to assist with credit, debt, savings, and/or banking, for individuals or couples, either by phone or video, or in-person at a number of locations around the county. Translation services are also available.
